The idea of creating the National Bonsai and Suiseki Instructors College (Collegio IBS) was born in 1996 with the aim of bringing together professional instructors, thus creating a body composed of competent and well-prepared members. The first President was Prof. Giovanni Genotti, one of the first important exponents of Italian bonsai, who held the position for the first term of the College. Genotti was joined by Matilde Bramati, Salvatore Liporace, Carlo Oddone, Chiara Padrini, Luciana Queirolo, Pietro Rotondo, Maurizio Rovida, Luigi Toso, and Sandro Segneri.
To this day, the IBS College brings together professional instructors by promoting their individual activities and organizing events, courses, and meetings dedicated to all bonsai enthusiasts. Among the latest initiatives of the IBS College are the creation of Branch, an online magazine dedicated to the friends and supporters of the association, and the revival of the association's congress, which has become an annual event aimed at the general public.
The In Arte Bonsai project was created to bring on the internet experience and professionalism in the field of bonsai nursery and education. On our website, customers can find a wide selection of bonsai trees and everything needed for the practice of this fascinating and ancient art. Through constant care and attention to details, In Arte Bonsai aims at providing uniquee, exclusive and high-quality materials.
